Description
Contrary to some trees, the holly oak does not lose its leaves in autumn. It keeps them over several season! This is why it remains green throughout the year. Its leaves are different from those of other oak species because they are whole, smooth and hairy on their underside. Adapted to calcareous land, it resists both frost and very hot conditions
